Watercolor Business Cards from Basic Invite: the Child at Heart blog

If you have been following along with my newest hobby on Instagram, you know that I am currently OBSESSED with hand-lettering and am ready to start turning that hobby into some fun money!  I needed a business card to start handing out to wedding planners so I turned to Basic Invite to design my card and I LOVE them!  I want to hand them out to everyone I know.  🙂

I chose my designs from lots of options to get started and then adjusted the fonts and colors to create exactly what I wanted.  The best part about Basic Invite is the over 180 different color options.  They pretty much have every color you could ever need!  This feature really sets them apart from the other sites because I was able to change every little aspect of the card down to the smallest detail.  They also have lots of designs that repeat throughout the site from the custom thank you notes to the personalized business cards so you can have a cohesive look with all of your stationery.

When they arrived, I really was impressed with the quality of the cardstock paper and how thick they were.  The card had a really nice texture and was so vibrant and crisp!  If you aren’t sure about how your card, invitation, or whatever else you design is going to look like in real life, they will also send you custom samples!

If you need an invitation for a party, especially a graduation party, this is the perfect website to order the perfect color for your event!  They also have custom envelope colors to make your card really stick out from the rest of the mail.  All of their envelopes are also peel and seal so you don’t that yucky taste in your mouth from licking 200 envelopes!  🙂
